BAMF is a modular light armor system consisting of a jacket, pants/overall, boots, gloves, and helmet. The pants and jackets are made of ballistic fabric offering protection against edged weapons and some resistance to energy weapons. Armor plates are installed in pockets provided for projectile weapons. Type and quantity and placement is customizale by the wearer for protection and mobility. Helmet provides communications, visual and audio enhancement and protection in addition to ballistic and energy weapon protection. Helmet can be sealed to the suit to provide respiratory protection and can provide limited environmental protection when gloves are used.
